After settling in, the evening focuses on connection—meeting new friends, setting intentions, and opening leadership journals that will capture reflections throughout the journey. A shared welcome dinner marks the start of an adventure built on curiosity, growth, and global discovery. 

Explore the magnificent Temple of Heaven, an imperial complex where emperors once prayed for good harvests, marvel at its stunning architecture and harmonious layout, and learn about its deep cultural and spiritual significance. Afterwards, visit the vibrant 798 Art District, where contemporary art and creativity thrive, and participate in hands-on workshops in traditional Chinese arts such as calligraphy or paper cutting, blending heritage with creative expression. 

Begin the day at Tiananmen Square, the symbolic heart of China’s political and cultural identity, where students discuss nation-building, civic space, and leadership at scale. The journey continues into the Forbidden City, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where imperial architecture and court design reveal how power, hierarchy, and governance were structured for centuries. In the afternoon, students explore the Qianmen district, immersing themselves in local life, traditional streets, and evolving commerce, and reflecting on how culture, community, and leadership adapt over time. 

Wrap up the day with authentic Peking duck dinner at one of Beijing’s finest restaurants, complete with cultural performances.

Climbing the Great Wall becomes both a physical and symbolic challenge. As students navigate steep paths and breathtaking views, conversations turn to perseverance, teamwork, and long-term vision. The experience reinforces that great achievements—past and present—are built step by step through resilience and collaboration.

The day begins with a high-speed bullet train journey to Xi’an, giving students a firsthand look at China’s advanced rail engineering as landscapes shift along the way. Upon arrival, they explore the ancient City Wall—walking or cycling atop its fortifications while discussing urban planning, protection, and leadership in historic capitals. As evening falls, students head to Xi’an’s famous street food district, where they immerse themselves in local cuisine, observe culinary traditions shaped by history and trade, and experience how food serves as a powerful expression of culture, community, and identity. 

Standing in front of the Terracotta Warriors, students confront the scale of ancient ambition and organization. Discussions highlight logistics, craftsmanship, and the human effort behind monumental projects. A hands-on cultural workshop later in the day emphasizes patience, discipline, and focus—skills shared by both ancient artisans and modern leaders. End the evening with a visit to Tang Paradise or immerse yourself in Xi’an’s past through the captivating Tang Dynasty Dance Show.

The journey continues to Chongqing, a city shaped by rivers, mountains, and rapid development. As night falls and the skyline glows, students begin to understand how geography influences engineering, infrastructure, and daily life. The city’s vertical design sparks curiosity about adaptability and resilience in complex environments.  In the evening, explore Hongya Cave, a riverside cultural and shopping complex built on stilts, capturing the city’s historic charm. 

Students begin the day exploring Ciqikou Ancient Town, wandering its narrow lanes and bustling streets where traditional architecture, river trade history, and daily life come together. The experience highlights how culture and commerce evolve while preserving identity. The journey continues at the Three Gorges Museum, where students gain deeper insight into Chongqing’s regional history, engineering achievements, and the impact of large-scale infrastructure projects. Guided discussions connect heritage, urban growth, and leadership in a rapidly developing city. 

The day takes students beyond the city to Wulong Karst Geological Park, a UNESCO-listed natural wonder known for its dramatic limestone formations, natural stone bridges, and deep gorges. As students explore the landscape, they learn about geology, environmental systems, and the forces that shape the natural world. The blend of adventure and observation sparks conversations about resilience, conservation, and how leaders balance development with environmental responsibility, making nature itself a powerful classroom. 

Students arrive in Shanghai, where China’s past and future meet. The afternoon begins with a visit to The Bund, where historic architecture lines the river opposite a futuristic skyline—prompting discussion on globalization, urban planning, and economic development. The day culminates at Shanghai Tower, where students explore engineering innovation, sustainable design, and vertical city concepts while taking in panoramic views that symbolize Shanghai’s global ambition. 

The day focuses on understanding how history, science, and technology intersect. Students visit the Shanghai Museum, gaining insight into Chinese history, materials science, craftsmanship, and cultural evolution. The journey continues to a STEM-oriented site such as the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, where interactive exhibits on robotics, space, and emerging technologies encourage hands-on exploration. Group discussions connect innovation to education, research, and future career pathways in a global city. 

Students slow down to experience Shanghai’s cultural heart, beginning at Yuyuan Garden, where landscape design, balance, and philosophy reveal principles of systems thinking and intentional design. Nearby, they explore the City God Temple area, experiencing traditional markets and local life. The afternoon offers time for relaxation and fun together. The day ends with a farewell celebration, where students reflect on their growth, share insights, and celebrate the journey they’ve completed together.
